Well, by changing our eating habits to eat more climate-friendly food! Replacing meat and dairy products with plant-based alternatives is a simple way to reduce climate impact.Violife Professional's ambition is to be 100% plant-based by 2025.

What does the label mean?

Klimato’s carbon footprint label is presented next to a dish and indicates the amount of greenhouse gas emissions for each meal, measured in kg CO2e (carbon dioxide equivalents). Food actually causes up to a third of all the world's emissions, and by changing our habits to eating food with a low climate impact, we can make a big difference to our planet!

Low, medium or high simply shows how climate-friendly the dish is. Good to know is that an average lunch or dinner today has a climate footprint of 1.7 kg CO2e per dish.
