  • 2 cup Tteokbokki
  • 2 tbsp Violife Plant Butter
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil plus extra to serve
  • 1/2 cup shallot sliced
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp gochujang chili paste
  • 2 cup San Marzano Tomatoes hand crushed
  • 1 tbsp tomato doppio concentrato
  • 3/4 cup rose wine
  • 1 cup water
  • 3/4 cup Violife Just Like Heavy Whipping Cream
  • 1/4 cup Violife 100% Vegan Just Like Feta to garnish
  • 1 tsp Gochugaru
  1. In a non-stick, warm Violife Plant Butter and 2 tbsp olive oil over medium-high heat.
  2. Once Violife Plant Butter is melted, add onions, salt, and cook until softened- around 5 minutes.
  3. Whisk in tomato paste and cook until fragrant and caramelized- about 2 minutes.
  4. Whisk in gochujang , deglaze with rose, and cook until alcohol has burned off- about 1 minute.
  5. Whisk in water, add Tteokbokki, and cook for 5 minutes until softened and water has reduced by half.
  6. Stir in cream, plate, garnish with Violife Just Like Feta, Gochugaru, and olive oil.
