Pour the milk in the bowl of your stand mixer, then add 1 tablespoon of sugar and 1 tablespoon of yeast to the warm milk. Stir and let it stand for five minutes.
Add sugar, Flora Plant Butter, eggs, and vanilla to the mixture. Use a dough hook to mix until the ingredients are combined.
Add flour, salt, and cinnamon and mix with the dough hook, starting on low and increasing to high. Knead the dough in the mixer until it forms a large ball.
Transfer the dough to a floured surface and knead it with your hands until smooth and elastic (about 3-5 minutes). Form it into a ball. Grease a large bowl and place the dough inside.
Cover the bowl with a warm, damp towel and place in a warm place to rise for 1 hour.
To make the filling, in a small bowl, mix the butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon until the mixture is smooth. Set aside.
To assemble the cinnamon rolls, sprinkle a large work surface with flour. Gently press the air out of the dough and shape it into a 24×12 inch rectangle, about 0.5 inch thick.
Spread the filling all over the dough.
Roll out the dough and cut it into 12-15 equal rolls. Then, place the rolls in a greased baking dish, evenly spaced.
Cover and let rise until almost doubled in size, about 30 minutes.
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (177 degrees Celsius)
Once the buns have doubled in size, bake them in the preheated oven until golden brown, about 20-25 minutes.
Meanwhile make the cream cheese frosting, combine all the ingredients in a bowl and mix using a whisk.
Once you take the cinnamon rolls out of the oven, spread the creamy frosting on them while they are still warm.
