  • 170 g sage and onion stuffing mix
  • 425 ml boiling water
  • 300 g cooked whole chestnuts (roughly chopped)
  • 120 g La vie plant based bacon
  • 1 leek (roughly chopped)
  • 200 g chestnut mushrooms (roughly chopped)
  • 50 g rehydrated dried cranberries
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh rosemary, thmye and sage
  • 320 g plant based sausage meat
To Make the Sandwich
  • Large white crusty sandwich loaf (2 per sandwich)
  • Flora Plant B+tter Salted
  • Plant based mayonnaise
  • cranberry sauce
  • Violife Cheddar slice
  • Violife mozzarella
  1. Mix stuffing mix with boiling water and allow to stand (follow instructions)
  2. Take a tablespoon of the Flora Plant B+tter Salted and sautee off the leeks, plant based bacon, mushrooms and herbs.
  3. Mix all of the above and add in the chestnuts and the cranberries.
  4. Form the stuffing mix into 30g balls and pan fry in Flora Plant B+tter Salted.
To make the sandwich
  1. Spread each slice of bread with Flora Plant B+tter Salted
  2. On both side of the bread add a teaspoon of plant based mayonnaise, and a teaspoon of cranberry sauce.
  3. On one side add the Violife cheddar and top with three of the stuffing balls.
  4. Top with the Violife mozzarella and top with the other slice of bread.
  5. Pan fry gently until golden brown and crisp.
